Behind the method

The Pomodoro Technique.

Created in the late 1980s by Francesco Cirillo, the Pomodoro Technique is a time-management method named after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer he used to track his work as a university student.

The rhythm is simple — focus for 25 minutes, then rest for 5. After four sessions, take a longer break of 15 to 30 minutes. The structure keeps your attention sharp without burning out.
